Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

As with the Dreadful Embarrassment bag, this bag has sufficient capacity, lovely inside pockets, and is comfortable to carry. The biggest drawback is that it has no handle on the top – you have to either hold it under your arm or carry it by the shoulder strap. When getting in and out of a car, that’s a pain.

I find the interior pockets to be okay but not great – they don’t seem to be well designed to hold the things I want to put in them.

Overall, I like the bag. And I’m looking for one I’ll like better.

First things first: when you get the bag, it takes some “breaking in”. The nylon is tough (which is good), but that means it will be stiff and needs a few days to loosen up. After that, it’s an awesome bag. Comfortable to carry, very very durable (I would rate it up there with LL Bean quality, for those of you who’ve had the same backpack since grade school… you know who you are). The 15″ MacBook Pro fits absolutely perfectly in the sleeve, with no room to spare (but that’s good… it won’t shift around on you).

Now the bad news: even after break in, it’s not as spacious as you might hope. I would not recommend this bag for current students (having just graduated from college 2 months ago, I know). Once you get your laptop in there, you realistically only have room for one, maybe two, text books if you’re also carrying your charger and some other bulky stuff. For newly minted professionals, this bag is perfect, especially the black. It’s sleek, minimalist, and professional, while at the same time still retaining some youthfulness. All of that, plus if your only carrying your laptop and a notebook everyday, like me, the bag is lightweight and comfortable.

Great product, and I would most definitely recommend it!

Perfect size, beautiful color…. overall, this is the closest I think I could get to an ideal bag for my ibook. I can easily carry my 14 inch, along with all needed accessories, personal stuff (wallet, phone, etc.) and even have space to fit in a book and notebook without becoming overloaded. The strap is comfortable, and easily adjustable. Inner sleeve perfectly fits my ibook, so I wonder if it might be slightly too small for a 15 inch screen. Waterproof…. I got caught in a downpour the other day and newly appreciated my bag. Only two slight complaints – VERY loud velcro closures (I work in a library!)… but hey, it’s certainly secure… and no outer phone compartment.
