There are a lot of compartments to choose from in this bag. But you have to choose the right one to slide your lap top into.The SECOND zippered pocket (the one that makes up the back of the bag) not only expands, but has a reinforced bottom especially for the laptop.

You can’t just jam it into any spot, which is probably the problem that the gentleman who rated it lowest encountered.

Not worth the price
I bought this bag a few months because it looks very sturdy and well padded. Unfortunately the straps are not sewn in well and within a few weeks began to rip.

Bought this bag for my daugter for college. She used it for a bit then went back to an old bag. I carried it briefly and also went back to another bag. The flap is floppy.

does not fit 17 inch widescreen
one of the reasons that I bought this bag was to fit my new toshiba 17 inch. does not fit at all. Also, it’s not very roomy. I had to return it. Just didn’t work for my laptop.
